Hi, I am currently researching prelude, cello suite No. 1 in G major by Bach as part of my As dance course as this music has been provided as a stimulus for our exam, we have to choreograph a solo dance to it. I was wondering if anyone could help me with the mood, purpose, structure etc of the piece. Anything relating to it is great! why it was made and if it is trying to portray anything such as a narrative or message would be very helpful! Thanks to anyone who has the time to reply.
