Searching for Volunteer Work Starting Feb 2000 worldwide

I am a US citizen with 15 years experiance in nursing. I wish to hear about volunteer opportunities in Africa, Middle East, Sinia, Tibet, Nepal, India, Indonesia, So. Pacific.

I have up to 2 years of free time and wish to put it to useful and rewarding opportunities.

Do you know about Physicians for Social Responsibility? I believe that they offer volunteer opportunities. Sorry I don't have more information at the moment. Somewhere in my disorganized files I know I must have some information that can help you. If I come across it I'll send it. Good luck with you worthwhile quest.

Program for Volunteers in Prisons

Established in an Episcopal Church in Buffalo, New York by distinguished professors of Religion, Criminology, and Addiction Medicine from the University of New York, Niagara University, Daemen College and inner city clergy. The seminary focuses on training individuals for socially responsible ministry and provides churches and faith based organizations with information and technical skills to enhance their ability to help those who are homeless, in prison, on welfare, suffer from addiction, suffer from health related problems, and other social problems.
