I'm interested and available now to do three to four months of volunteer work in Africa. Either AIDS related or Famine relief. I'm 52 and in good health. I can pay my flight but need room and board once there. I was going to Ethiopia but that fell though. If you know of any volunteer opportunities in Africa please let me know.

I say let AIDs do its thing in Africa. Kill off as many of the Africans as possible.

oh my, what an evil bad thing to say, i'm sure most of you are clucking away about now.

well, the reason is simple. there are over 6 billion people worldwide now. we don't need 6 billion people, we don't need 6 billion becoming 9 billion in the next 50 - 100 years.

if we don't let nature manage our overpopulation, then what will? WAR?

you love animals? where are they going to live when africa (and south east asia and south america) double or triple in human population and the lands are industrialized and settled for all the wonderful lil peoples...

realize that it isn't the developed nations of the world with booming birthrates, it's the thirld world.

is it a good thing if the population of the third world doubles in 50 years?

some bad things that happen often have good consequences for life in general. after a forest fire decimates a forest, new growth comes back.

africa is burning people and all the western cash and drugs you want to throw at it will only have one of 2 outcomes.

africa looks like europe and the us in 50-100 years. industrialized, polluting, ultra-urbanized and so many people there is no land left for wildlife except perhaps for a few wildlife preserves/zoos to pen up nature into.

ah hell thats gonna happen anyway. pave the damn place. kill everything for its skin or bones and sell it to the chinese as aphrodisiacs.

there ya go! all you volunteers go do your thing, make sure that 1 billion people become 2 or 3 billion and teach them how to fry up all those tasty critters and turn their environments into primo development property with a view!

why don't you volunteer to help the distressed in your own city... not exciting enough eh?

you really want to do something good? help the ignorant realize that don't need to have 3+ kids. teach the africans and others some self discipline.

perhaps teach them not to fuck everything that moves and perhaps no new scourge like aids will arise again from their midsts.

Hi,
I am 22 year old student (female) of economics in Czech republic and wish to find more information about volunteer work in Africa. I am focused on developing countries in my studies in general but the theory does not satisfy me enough. I work for "People in need foundation" in Czech but their activities do not concern Africa which interests me most.
I would be grateful for any relevant information.
