Needing of sponsors, volunteers... International Volunteers for Africa is a programme affiliated with POVERTY AFRICA established in 1995 to receive Volunteers from the northern countries who are willing to come and work in Africa for 2 years in the following programmes: 1. Agriculture, health, education, water, housing and the environment; 2. Infrastructure development creation and income generation; 3. Employment creation and income generation; 4. Empowerment of women, unemployed youth, disabled people, refugees and disadvantaged groups; 5. Small Business and Technology promotion; 6. Management, consultancy research and information storage and retrieval systems; 7. Investment and trade; 8. North-South and South-South cooperation. We are inviting organizations and individual persons who could fund, sponsor, or engage in the joint venture towards a successful 2 years (Subject to continue) International Volunteer for Africa Project which will engage individual capable persons from developed countries willing to come and work in the following various economic development programmes of poverty alleviation in Africa, particularly Tanzania: Credit Shops Environment Street Children Women Empowerment Widows Other projects Since the project has no enough funds to sponsor Volunteers and maintain smooth running operation of the office, we are inviting organizations and individual persons who are willing to fund, sponsor, or engage in this joint venture.
