I am desperate to find plans for building my own wind generator for my caravan and stable lights. If anyone has any information i would be very gratefull. !!!! (the summers comeing and i like my caraven and horses!!!!!

I'm looking for a Pemanent Magnet Synchronous generators nad supplies.
0-50 kwh. Tired of paying electric bills. Trying to sell some electric back to grid. I plan to use seweral different size units.

hi, i am curious to find out where i can get hold of a 1.5volt alternator to attach to a hampster wheel, or if anyone can tell me how to make one from a 1.5volt motor!

I want to build a 5kw windturbine. I have been studying over several plans including brake drum alternators. I have decided to start from scratch. So far, I have'nt seen any designs for large turbines. Does anyone have any suggestions on this. I want it to perform well in low winds, but be able to handle high wind gusts also. Does anyone know of a book, etc. that might have plans for large turbines? Thanks for any feedback.

Just ran across this windpower discussion. Id suggest Hugh Piggotts book "windpower workshop" and his newest axial field windmill plans. I've been playing at making windturbines for a few years. Check out some of the projects on our website:
