Hello,
In my current novel, Winged with Death, I wish to quote a few words from the
work of Hermann Hesse.
Unfortunately I have been unable to trace the copyright of the quotation and
wonder if anyone on this last can help.
The novel I'm working on uses a quotation at each chapter heading, and I would
like to use the words:
"So you can't dance? Not at all? Not even one step? . . . How can you say that you've taken any trouble to live when you won't even dance?" from Steppanwolf
in this context, giving, of course, the relevant credits.
If anyone knows who would be the copyright
holder, I would be most grateful.
