Hi
my name is Sue and I am interested in anyone who has contacts for work in Cuba.I am an English mature qualified Social Worker with over 20 years experience in children and families including 7 years as a Children's Rights Officer. I have just completed a TEFL course for teaching adults and children. I am particularly interested in teaching English through play and have a plan and some money to invest in my dream. Failing this I am interesting in long term work opportunities and am available to start immediately. My spanish language skills are at intermediate level. Grateful for any info or contacts. Best wishes Sue

Hallo all,
my name is Barbara and I am looking for work in developing countries where I can help with issues such as agriculture, water supply, sanitation, education, etc.
I have some previous experience as I have worked in South Africa and Ethiopia. I get very frustrated because it seems hard to find a job in this area although there is so much need. All the position advertised are for Programme Directors or Country Managers and I am none of those.
Has anyone got any suggestion for me please? I am living in UK at present but I am willing to relocate. Good luck to all and Merry Christmas.

Hallo, I am looking for a position in logistics/ transportation, administrative or teaching in Africa, preferably in Ethiopia. I have a B.S. in management from Almeda University in the US. I am fluent in English, French and Amharic (Ethiopian). At the moment I work for the US Government in the Middle East in logistics management. I am willing to work in any conditions, as I am used to harsh and desolate environments. I would like nothing more than to thrive to make our world a better place.

My fellow bloggers and net heads this is a call to the masses, there is a very honorable cause going on in New Orleans That is doing some really great work that should be commended and applauded.
(JTRA) is a charitable Organization/food bank that is going above and beyond it's duty to help the citizens in the New Orleans and surrounding area's, and I would like you to take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and take a look at some of the great work their doing.
The site is located at:

WHAT WE DO - THE NUMBERS: JTRA' s Kitchen serves hot lunches to the community free of charge since they are still trying to rebuild , and get their homes , and lives together.

In 2007 JTRA distributed 4.187 million pounds of food.

We distributed groceries to 252,194 families for a total 517,800 individuals.

We cooked and served 127,181 hot meals in 2007.
