Farm Sanctuary is looking for committed volunteers to organize a Walk for Farm Animals in their area! Farm Sanctuary works to end cruelty to farm animals and promotes compassionate living through rescue, education and advocacy. Join hundreds of farm animal advocates and concerned individuals as they take messages of compassion to the streets for our annual Walk for Farm Animals during the September/October months. Held in cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, this event not only educates the public about the realities of factory farming, but also raises critical funds for our rescue, education and advocacy programs. As a Walk Coordinator, you can become intimately involved in this worthy cause! We are looking for Walk Coordinators in the following states: Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Rhone Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming Visit www.farmsanctuary.org for more information.
