VOLUNTEER in NEPAL through HOPE 'n HOME

HOPE 'n HOME makes a positive difference in the lives of the deprived society of NEPAL by providing volunteering opportunities to international volunteers.
We provide support to committed volunteers who have an understanding and respect of all races, religions and cultures. Our programs are intended to be flexible and we aim to accommodate all interests, needs and budgets.
We send volunteers to orphanages, centers for disabled children, health posts, hospitals, and to schools and communities to generate awareness regarding environment, sanitation and teaching english.

The ultimate goal of this Volunteer Program is to give the Nepalese the necessary tools to help themselves. Your time, talent and contribution can help us do that. Through our resources and your involvement, together we can better the lives of the Nepalese.

A great way to help the world

I found this great organization just for people who want to help others from all around the globe. It’s called The Mountain Fund and they are devoted to helping people of mountain cultures.

Its mission is to organize grassroots nonprofits and NGO's from a diversity of disciplines and support and coordinate these organizations' efforts to eliminate poverty, its causes and symptoms, in mountainous communities.

The Mountain Fund works everyday to bring health care, human rights, responsible tourism and environmental progress to those who need it most.

All About Agwata Kenya Safaris -The most frustrating experience in my life

I am Trini Contreras, from Spain. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and I decided to do environmental volunteer work in Kenya with Agwata Kenya Safaris. It was a disaster all together and for all of us. From the beginning, dealing with the people from the organisation was a very difficult task. But that was nothing compared to what was waiting for me once in Kenya.

If you want more information about my experience, which I shared with other two volunteers from Australia, when dealing with this “organization” you can visit my website:

www.agwatakenyasafaris.galeon.com

You can also email me or even call me if you have further questions. My email address and phone number are in the website referenced above.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN BRAZIL!!

New culture experience while making a real difference in people's lives?

By volunteering in a social project in Brazil you will be more than just a tourist passing through; you will become a member of the community. Experience this fascinating, vibrant country from the inside while sharing your own talents and knowledge of American culture with young Brazilians.

You will come away with memories and new international friendships that will last a lifetime. You'll gain perspectives and insights into the local culture and yourself. It's an exciting and personally inspiring experience, and you'll develop memories that will be with you forever.
We need volunteers from different backgrounds and with different talents; you can work in areas such as in education, social work, environmental work, health care and a wide variety of other fields.

If you don't speak fluent Portuguese, we strongly advise you to take an intensive Portuguese course here in Maceio. You have to realize that without speaking the language of the country, you are more of a burden than a help and it is hard to gain the trust of the people.

We don't charge a fee for volunteers, the contact to the social project is for free. We want to put an end to poverty. Also special ideas or suggestion are always welcome. We only charge for additional cost, like housing, language course, airport pick-up or activities from our school.

If you are interested, please send us your CV: info@school-gobrazil.com
