I believe the goodness of people is extremely important. So many times we don't think about what we're doing for others because we're raised in a selfish society. I keep 2 journals -- one is my regular daily journal, and the other is to record the goodness I have done for other people. I call it my 'unselfish' journal. It has helped me become a better person--I strongly reccommend it.

This is a new petition for Real humanitarian aid in Afghanistan. I apologise for overlooking good forum etiquette, and rushing by, but only a few epetitions are effective, with hundreds of thousands of signatures, and it all depends on word of mouth. Hello,

To achieve solidarity we need ways to represent, present and disseminate the global view. We need an agreed conceptual currency, a common place, a shared framework upon which to argue, agree to differ and solve problems. A tool taught universally to ALL children: a tool that supports 21st century methods of reasoning and information literacy.

I wondered if the site below may prove a unique solidarity place?

PETITION AGAIST THE NIGERIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

On the 11th of september 2004, the Nigeria police force trooped in one playing ground [Abule-Ado International trade Fair Field Lagos, Nigeria] where the MASSOB [movement for the actualisation of the sovereign states of Biafra] players are playing their final competition of Uwazuruike Freedom Cup arrested and wounded hundreds of players and fans.

The most painful part of the arrest was that our women were turtured and bitted bruitally after which they were raped by the Nigeria police force.

For many times like this, the same case has happening to our football members in Nigeria. We have suffered a lot in the hands of Nigeria government just because, we want our freedom from the opressive evil leadership meted on us [the eastern part of Nigeria] by the Nigeria government.

Our members including fans and footballers of about 353 people are lanquishing today in the Nigeria prison, namely Ikoyi and kirikiri Prison .
The arrested players were dumped there in the prison for almost a month now without tryal if any offence was committed.
They are allegedly being charged of treasonable offence and the case was remanded in the magistrate court of Yaba, Lagos . To our surprised, the police alleging them of treson did not even want to charge the case to the federal high court which has jurisdiction over the matter, rather remamded it to the majistrate court.

Please, the good people of FIFA with your high level of football knowledge can tell us how the innocent footballers who were found nothing within are being charged of treason .
We ask this question for anybody to help us to answer it.
How can armless players overthrow the government with their suffiscated arms?

We, the executive members of the Biafran Sports Commission [BSC] are begging the entire members of FIFA executive and the president to help us on this issure before the Nigeria government will swallow us to death.

We should recall to your memorry that some of the world class players that nigeria is bosting of today are our sons and doughters. Like ;Mr Jay Jay Okocha, Mr Kanu Nwankwo Salestine Babayaro, John Utaka etc

We write this petition with urgent solution and reply.

For these purposes, transpersonal and humanist informed programs seem best that emphasize self-actualization, self-fufillment, and self-realization. "Article2"-Youth for a change

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an active participant on the Voices of Youth UNICEF forum, a website dedicated to connect youth all over the world to make their voices heard and take action in order to solve global social issues.

During the last year, young people coming from different countries and cultures had gathered together on the forum, had discussed about world�s problems and new ways of getting involved and finally had created a new youth group, named �Article2� .The group�s goal is to build a better future for our planet, by using young people�s ideas, talents and personal skills in order to make a difference in the world they live.

As a member of �Article 2� group I am proud to announce you the launching of our next project: an online newsletter which aim is to help youth make their voices heard and raise awareness upon important problems that affect worldwide teenagers, like children�s rights, poverty, education, war, HIV/AIDS, violence, social exclusion, etc.

Our newsletter �Article2-Youth for a change� will try to reach people's minds and hearts through articles, reports, interviews, documentaries as well as photos and artworks (poems, songs, sketches). It will also include contests and surveys, and the reader�s direct participation will be demanded as our publication will be opened to any person eager to get involved and help us improve the world around us.

Our desire is to have this newsletter published, advertised or reviewed on as many sites as possible, in order to affirm our ideas and make our initiatives known by a numerous public. We are also looking for new members,people eager to help us with ideas and advice.

We've just come out with a t-shirt in light of what's still going on. 'Thought you might all be interested.

It reads:

Resist Slavery : "Resist Slavery - Stolen Wealth, Stolen Knowledge, Stolen Lives, Subjugated People"

The Arabic reads : 'muqaawamah' meaning resistance.

On the map of Africa are extracts from The Willie Lynch Letter, that was written by a slave-owner in 1712 : 'I have a fool proof method of controlling Black Slaves. Outline differences amongst them; then exaggerate them. Use territory, fear, distrust and envy to control. Pitch the old against light-skinned; coarse hair against fine; use the female against the male. Distrust all Blacks; but they must love, respect and trust only us. After receiving this indoctrination, the Slave shall carry on and will become self perpetuating for hundreds maybe thousands of years.'
