Kaivalyadhama Yoga training and research centre in Lonavla India is a wonderful place. they run a six week yoga teacher training course which begins the 6th of May. I believe. They have just launched a web page. I will respond again with that address. good luck to you
My name is Helen and I have been practising yoga for two years. I am currently in my second year of studying for a Naturopathy degree in Australia and as part of my course, I need to present a dissertation in my third year. I am interested in researching the practice of yoga in prisons/detention centres. I am a physician hoping to do research on the therapeutic effcts of yoga for mental health. So far I know of the Vivekananda Research Foundation in Bangalore and Kaivalyadhama in Lonavla. Does anyone know which is better in terms of learning about yoga personally and professionally? Are there other places to do medical research and learn about yoga that I am not aware of? Thank you!!
