human rights inspiration

Hello, I am a human rights activist and am compiling a book of 365 days of human rights inspirations. Am seeking people who work in human rights to write to them and invite them to write an inspiration. This book has a tentative publication date for december to coincide with 50th anniversary of UDHR. Any suggestions. Am sending letters all over the world. e-mail me if you would like more information. Aloha and best

Frightening disregard for human rights!

I discovered your board while searching for "Human Rights" through ForumOne after reading the following very disturbing discussion:

http://readersonline.com/board/index.cgi?read=117

None of us concerned with basic human rights should let this kind of thing go undisputed!

Thank you for listening to me.

This is sick:

http://www.petitiononline.com/chinath/petition.html

"Transsexuals have been allowed to enter the Olympics to compete as members of the opposite sex. This has been a long debated topic, and much controversy has surrounded the decision to let people compete as a sex he/she was not born with.

It is a travesty against human rights that the Chinese government has taken advantage of this situation, and the countries involved in the Olympics should stand against the mutilation of Chinese atheletes to give them a winning edge in the Olympics.

Forcing sex change is not only a travesty, but stands against the beauty and the purity that the Olympic games have always stood for. The Chinese government has always been the bane of human rights, but this time they have gone too far."

I just read this and I am appalled.

Many adoptees complain that their human rights are being violated. This article helps describe the rights they are referring to.
