Wind generators

A homebuilt windgenerator that compares to the commercial ones in power output and that costs you about 100 dollars in parts. There are two, a 6 foot wood two blade and an 8 foot wood two blade that are similar to the early whispers. I am getting 300 and 600 watts using permanent magnet generators, and the 8 foot with 60 amp auto alternator is up and testing. Email me for electronic pics and details at solarbozo@hotmail.com

Looking for steady supply of permanent magnet generators for use in producing wind generators for boaters. Have in the past purchased some generators from surplus dealers, but supply is uncertain, and of various outputs, dimensions etc. Would like to hear from manufacturers or individuals with knowledge of the supply side of things. There is a company producing small neodymion magnet generators, but can not locate them. Any clues????

In answer to some of the ?'s, our site, in the highlites section, shows neodymuim alternators from china and some from a hydrogen windpower company in CA. We are putting up a 10ft 1.2kw plus now for testing using a PM DC 1hp motor. We have not been using any regulation and these props have not failed, even in the 154mph blast of last year. They really cook, and if the right gen and pulley ratio is present, will compete with any wind machine. We are using the Bergy type airfoil. And, anyone can build these with super results. Check out the site by using Microsoft search for Solarbozo Windpower...Will Peterson
